Hammer Miner published tag V3.0.0-20260916 in its official DC06-APP GitHub repository on September 18, 2026. The release is named “V3.0.0 20260916” and the note says only “Initial version.” Its asset is dc06-3.0.0-20260916-update.bin, sized 3,280,945 bytes. GitHub reports SHA-256 97f1be93e4a589ad5c56a0539410cc82544751edcc2033e2d1c08f7c95c5f958. ASIC.tools downloaded the asset, calculated the same digest and stored the exact binary on the site.
Use only the exact model package
The filename and repository identify DC06 specifically. Do not infer compatibility with BC04, BC08, Thor X1, Thor P2 or another Hammer Miner device, even if the interface looks similar. Firmware can include bootloader, board-control, voltage, fan or network settings tied to one hardware revision. Before flashing, compare the model label, board revision and current firmware screen with the manufacturer documentation. If the vendor does not explicitly list a revision, ask support rather than experimenting on production equipment.
Verify the file before flashing
Check both file size and SHA-256 after every download. A browser, proxy or incomplete transfer can produce a file with the expected name but different contents. Other official page data and third-party listings have shown different power values, including 92 W or higher. Measure consumption at the wall for the exact unit and firmware. A firmware release does not automatically change nominal hashrate, efficiency or acoustic specifications.

The release note contains no changelog beyond “Initial version.” It does not describe bug fixes, supported hardware revisions, configuration migration, security changes, rollback behavior or known issues.
