f2pool adds NOCK rewards for Pearl miners: the wallet setting that matters
Source report: 2026-10-21 · Editorial analysis published: 2026-10-22
PRL miners can receive a second coin, but rewards start only after adding a NOCK address. The pool lists a 1% fee, a 350 NOCK threshold and a payout-start target.

One mining operation, two reward balances
f2pool launched merged mining of Pearl, or PRL, with Nockchain’s NOCK on October 21. For people already mining PRL at the pool, the practical change is the ability to receive NOCK rewards alongside their PRL rewards. The announcement was updated on October 22 with information about when payouts are due to begin.
Merged mining means compatible work can contribute to more than one blockchain. It does not mean two machines suddenly appear, or that every coin can be added to every miner. This announcement covers the PRL–NOCK combination; it is not a new Bitcoin or Litecoin reward offer.
The address is what activates accrual
The pool says NOCK rewards begin only after a corresponding valid payout address has been successfully added. Existing PRL mining activity alone is not enough. Open the relevant payout settings in the f2pool account and check that the destination is an address for NOCK on the intended network.
The pool’s separate merged-mining guide says rewards not enabled through an address do not accumulate and are not compensated retrospectively. That makes setup timing important: adding a wallet later is not a claim on every reward from the launch date. Confirm the saved address rather than relying on an intention to add it later.

What PPLNS and the fee mean
For NOCK, f2pool lists PPLNS with a 1% pool fee. PPLNS means Pay Per Last N Shares: the pool allocates rewards from blocks it actually finds using participants’ recent submitted work. A share is a record of useful mining work, not a company share or a payment already sent to your wallet.
Because the method depends on actual block production, the extra rewards can vary. PRL and NOCK are accounted for separately, according to the announcement. An additional balance is therefore possible, but the launch does not establish a fixed daily amount, a doubled return or a guaranteed profit after electricity costs.
A balance is not yet a wallet payment
The minimum payout threshold is 350 NOCK. Think of that as the pool’s payment gate: an eligible recorded balance below the threshold is different from a transfer you can see in an external wallet. The announcement does not provide a universal number of days for each miner to reach it.
The October 22 update says NOCK payouts will start before October 26 at 08:00 UTC. That is the pool’s stated rollout schedule, not confirmation that payouts were already running when this report was checked. The scheduled start and an individual account satisfying its own payment conditions are separate things.

Where to check the extra rewards
The launch notice directs website users to the bottom of the PRL Revenue page. In the app, it says to open More on that page and then Bonus Revenue. Check the NOCK line separately from the main PRL balance so an unchanged PRL number does not hide the new reward category.
If a wallet address is added or changed, the general guide also describes a temporary payout freeze; the specific resumption time is shown in the account settings. An exchange can impose its own deposit minimum too. Those service rules should be checked before assuming that a pool’s payout threshold is the only condition.
What the launch changes for a small miner
The useful first step is to enable and verify the additional address, then observe recorded rewards and actual transfers. Keep electricity consumption, equipment performance and the second coin’s value as separate inputs when evaluating the result. The pool has announced reward support, not a new independently tested efficiency rating for your hardware.
The clearest confirmation for an individual miner will be the saved NOCK setting, eligible accrued balance and a matching payment under the pool’s published rules.
